ABOUT / ENDLESS LOOP

A small operation.
A wide field of view.

Endless Loop is David Cunningham's independent research and development company, exploring the space between software, intelligence, and machines.

A place to work on
what comes next.

Founded in 2016, Endless Loop provides a home for research, product concepts, and hands-on technical development. Its work ranges from software and AI experiments to autonomous-vehicle systems and simulation.

The company draws on a background in developer tools, enterprise software, medical systems, and technology communities. That experience informs the research: start with a useful problem, understand the people around it, and make the idea concrete enough to test.

The lab is a way of working.

Some questions need code. Others need a model, an architecture, or a physical prototype. The method changes with the problem. The expectation stays the same: learn something that makes the next decision better.

RobotCrew is one expression of that approach. The FPV simulator is another. Both connect software to the behaviour of systems in the physical world.

HOW WE WORK

Keep the loop short.

Enough structure to learn. Enough room to be surprised.

01 / QUESTION

Find the constraint.

Start with the problem and the assumptions that make it difficult.

02 / PROTOTYPE

Build to understand.

Use the smallest useful experiment to make the unknowns visible.

03 / EVIDENCE

Test the theory.

Compare expectations with behaviour. Record what works and what doesn't.

04 / ITERATE

Change your mind.

Keep the useful parts. Improve the question. Run the next experiment.
